Lebor Gabala has participated in the 30th edition of Barcelona Fashion Week, 080 Barcelona Fashion, presenting today, Wednesday, October 27, its Indianas PV23 proposal. The chosen location has been the Modernist Campus of Sant Pau, former Hospital of the Holy Cross and Saint Paul, one of the most outstanding buildings of modernist architecture in Barcelona designed by the architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner.

Lebor Gabala takes a trip back in time with the Indianas SS23 collection and travels to the 16th century and the cottons and silks with toile de Jouy prints that European merchants brought from the Indies and developed first in Ireland and later in France – where they obtained its name -, soon becoming Marie Antoinette’s favorites and later becoming popular among European society.

On this occasion they have chosen a print with exotic jungle motifs and have turned the tradition on its head with intense and bright colors such as fuchsia, turquoise and leaf green, in airy and wide dresses and skirts with large ruffles, thus making it a nod to its origin.

They combine it with comfortable linen and cotton suits in tones that nature provides – the sky, the leaves and the sand – satin dresses and openwork sweaters in the same palette, to close the circle.
