The inspiration for a new collection can spring from the smallest stimulus that just sets our creativity aflame. For this year’s Spring-Summer, which in the blink of an eye is already upon us, we revive the 80’s aesthetic without falling victim to vintage. We have also let ourselves be inspired by the lush forests of fairy tales and Takashi Hommas’ dreamy photographs of waves. We allowed ourselves to be whisked away by Richard Anuszkiewicz’ Op Art, vibrant colours and geometrical shapes. When we visualize the woman who represents this collection, we think of Ali MCGraw wearing a suggestive turban; or perhaps Lauren Hutton and her charisma, that sparkles so brightly it is impossible to not look at her -at least- twice.

And just like that MEMORIES SS19 was born. Thanks to the different fabrics and materials used to create this collection, it is not only whimsical but versatile. The blazers that will warm our shoulders during the to- and fro of the transitional period before summer arrives, give the collection a masculine touch. When the warmth finally finds us, we will be waiting for it with open arms, draped in silk, viscose and linen; adorned with geometrical shapes, patchwork and flowers.

Who is ready for summer?
